How to get the free-fare card

A prior appointment is required. Go to the Espaço Gratuidade at Central do Brasil station (near ticket booth number 1) on the chosen day and time, bringing all required documents.

Documents required to receive the benefit

• If the student is under 18, they must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
• Original official photo ID or birth certificate (for beneficiaries under 18).
• Proof of address in the applicant's name (if over 21) or the legal guardian's name (for beneficiaries under 18), issued within the last 3 months.
• School enrolment certificate valid for 30 days.
• The school must have previously submitted the list of students requesting the benefit.
• For re-registration, the current card must be brought.
